You may have heard that, in celebration of Juneteenth, XRAY.fm & The Numberz.fm put out an open call offering free radio spots for Black-owned businesses and organizations in the Portland metro area. We had an incredible response, so we decided to make a directory of those businesses that we’re currently celebrating on our airwaves so our listeners could find them all in one place.
XRAY & The Numberz’ 4th Annual On Air Juneteenth Teach-In came at a time when the world was finally looking in to the day-to-day realities of Black Americans.
It seems like it’s been years and many natural disaster movies come to fruition since XRAY’s Amplify Women 2020, but really it’s only been 8 days. Yeah, we’re shocked by it too. Things have changed a lot, but XRAY is still here, and we’re proud to be bringing you this mass of content (and more to come!) to keep you feeling loved, entertained, and supported in this scary time.
